Frequently Asked Questions
What will the weather be like?
Of course, we can’t guarantee anything, but we get plenty of sun in Houston. The average high in March is around 70F and the low is 55F.
Keep an eye on the weather here in the weeks leading up to the wedding.
Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
Both ceremony and reception will be held indoors.
What time should I arrive to the ceremony?
We recommend that you arrive 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!
Is parking available at the venues?
The ceremony site has a limited number of spots in their private lot, and there is plenty of free street parking along Heights Blvd. and the neighboring streets.
There is not a private lot for the reception venue, but parking is plentiful in the Market Square area, with a parking lot and a new parking garage less than a 1/2 block from the Majestic Metro. We recommend taking an Uber if you plan to drink.
What happens after the ceremony?
The wedding party will be busy taking photos so they can enjoy cocktail hour with guests. We encourage guests to check out the bars near Market Square and the reception venue to pass the time between ceremony and reception. Our nearby favorites are Angel Share and Char Bar.
What should I wear? Is there a dress code?
The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat.
Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?
We love photos! We’d like the ceremony to be unplugged so we do ask that you refrain from taking photos during that time.
I'm visiting from out of town. What can I do while I'm in Houston?
Check out things to do around downtown here.
Will there be any other events to attend during the wedding weekend?
Thursday, March 21 @ 7:30 p.m - 9 p.m. | Drinks at Heights Drive Inn
Saturday, March 23 @ 3 p.m. | Afternoon at Eight Row Flint - East End
When is the RSVP deadline?

Where are you registered?
We are fortunate to have absolutely everything we need for this exciting new chapter! However, for guests who have expressed an interest, we’d love for you to consider a charity donation in lieu of a gift. Check out the charities here that are dear to our hearts.
